Juan C. Andrade is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Everest Re Group, Ltd., a leading global provider of reinsurance and insurance in key markets around the world.
Mr. Andrade has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, successfully leading large and complex domestic and international businesses. He has served in executive leadership roles in underwriting, product development and innovation, claims, sales and distribution, strategy development, and general management.
Mr. Andrade joined Everest from Chubb where he most recently held the position of Executive Vice President of Chubb Group and President, Overseas General Insurance. Mr. Andrade was responsible for Chubb’s general insurance business in over 50 countries outside of North America, including commercial P&C, traditional and specialty personal lines, and accident and health insurance.
Before commencing his insurance career, Mr. Andrade worked in national security and international affairs within the U.S. Federal Government’s Executive Branch and The Executive Office of the President.
Mr. Andrade received a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Florida and was honored as a Distinguished Alumni in 2018. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in International Economics and Latin American Studies from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.

Victoria (Vicky) Carter is Chairman of Global Capital Solutions, International for Guy Carpenter & Company Ltd. She is a key member of the Guy Carpenter leadership team, responsible for driving new business production across the firm’s global operations. She is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Vicky is a member of the Council of Lloyd’s and a Member of the Lloyd’s Nominations and Governance Committee. In addition, she is Chairman of the Lloyd’s Charities Trust, a Trustee of the Sick Children’s Trust and a Board Member of the Lloyd’s Community Programme. Vicky is a Freeman of the City of London and a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Insurers, for which she also serves as a Court Assistant.
Vicky has close to 40 years of experience in the reinsurance industry. She was the first female founder of a Lloyd's intermediary and has operated in a number of senior executive positions within the broking sector.
In 2019, Vicky was honoured at Incisive Media’s Women in Insurance Awards, winning the award for ‘Insurance Woman of the Year (large firms)’ and the judges’ choice ‘Outstanding Achievement’ award ‘In recognition of a woman who has risen to the top of the career ladder and is an inspiration to future female leaders’.

Ellissa Cavaciuti-Wishart is Senior Vice President, Head of CAT Modeling - International for AXIS Re, leading catastrophe modeling efforts outside of North America. Joining AXIS in 2010, Ms. Cavaciuti-Wishart has previously served as AVP CAT Manager and Vice President of CAT Modeling, analyzing Property Catastrophe portfolios globally. Prior to joining AXIS, she was a CAT Region Manager at SCOR, focusing on the Asia-Pacific region. She holds a Master of Philosophy in GIS & Remote Sensing from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Geography from University College London. Ms. Cavaciuti-Wishart is originally from the UK, but has been in Switzerland for the past 15 years and is based in the AXIS Re Zurich office.

Claudia was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Swiss Re’s Reinsurance business unit effective 1 March 2020. In addition, she is also the CFO of Swiss Re's main insurance carrier, Swiss Re Zurich limited (SRZ). Claudia is a fellow of the Aspen Institute Finance Leaders Fellowship and member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Claudia Cordioli joined Swiss Re in 2003. She has served in senior finance roles, including Head of Swiss Re Group External reporting and CFO Reinsurance EMEA. In 2016 she assumed the role of Head of Italy, Iberia & Mediterranean, and was appointed Head of Western and Southern Europe in 2018. Before joining Swiss Re, Claudia Cordioli held finance and consulting roles in institutions including KPMG in Zurich, CSC Ploenszke in Munich, DePfa Bank in Wiesbaden and Italtel/Siemens in Milano. Claudia Cordioli, an Italian citizen, holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Verona, Italy, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by New Hampshire Board of Accountancy (United States).

Vishal is Acting Head of Division (Chief Actuary), General Insurance Risk Specialists, at the Bank of England. He has over 18 years financial services industry experience across banking and insurance from consulting, in-house and regulatory perspectives both in the UK and internationally. Vishal has worked at UBS Investment Bank, PwC, Hiscox, FSA, APRA and the Bank of England, as well as partnering on projects with the United Nations (UN), World Bank, International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), Access to Insurance Initiative (A2ii) and International Actuarial Association (IAA). He is a past member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) General Insurance Board and President of the Casualty Actuaries of Europe (CAE). A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, Vishal also sits on the Insurance Insider Progress Advisory Board and the Board of Trustees of Switchboard, the UK's largest helpline based charity supporting the LGBT+ community. Vishal was named in the 2019 Yahoo Finance and OUTstanding “Top 50 LGBT+ Future Leaders” role model list.

Nick Eromin is a Managing Director at HSCM Bermuda Management Company with primary responsibilities as the Senior Technology Officer for the Re/Insurance Strategy. Most recently, Mr. Eromin worked at Aeolus Capital Management where he helped lead their efforts in developing the underlying technologies and systems to support the fund’s modeling, pricing, valuation, analytics and reporting. Prior to Aeolus, Mr. Eromin was a Senior Risk Consultant focusing on property risk modeling for AIR Worldwide. Mr. Eromin graduated, Magna Cum Laude, from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in
Economics and Finance. Mr. Eromin is an Associate in the Society of Actuaries and a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.

Kathleen’s career in the industry spans corporate benefits, captives, facultative insurance, reinsurance, and ILS. The past 10 years of her 30 year career have been focused on leading both at Tokio Millennium Re Bermuda (TMR) and in the Bermuda reinsurance market.
The power of leveraging technology to enable transformation and growth is key to Kathleen’s advisory positions with ChainThat, a UK based Insurtech company, and Blockchain Triangle, a Bermuda based Fintech company. Both of these advisory positions are focused on the opportunity Bermuda has to lead the way on global data standards and building a truly digital insurance marketplace including digital securitization of risk.
Kathleen served as Chief Executive Officer of Tokio Solution Management Ltd. From 2012-2016 and Head of TMR’s Bermuda branch from 2016-2019, where she spearheaded the expansion of TMR’s capital markets strategy with the start-up of Tokio Solution and Shima Re in 2012. She was instrumental in building TMR’s reputation as a leader in the ILS arena and driving their innovative approach to the ILS market.
Kathleen is a founding member and Chair of ILS Bermuda Ltd. which launched the ILS Bermuda Convergence event in 2012 – a leading ILS networking event held annually in Bermuda. Kathleen also currently sits on the board of the Bermuda Insurance Institute (BII) and is a founding Director of WeSpeak Bermuda, a non-profit focused on building exceptional public speaking skills and confidence.
Kathleen received the Bermuda Insurance Institute's (BII) Industry Leader of the Year award in 2015 and was named one of Insurance Day’s 2015 Power 50 Top Influencers in Reinsurance where she was recognized for promoting innovation and a bold approach to transforming the industry.

Tim is responsible for the build-out of Lockton’s global reinsurance business. With nearly 30 years’ experience as a reinsurance professional, he spent the first 27 years of his career at Guy Carpenter and Marsh. Tim joined Lockton Re in May 2019.

Peter Giaconeis a Managing Director and Global Head of the Insurance Ratings team at KrollBond Rating Agency (KBRA), where he performs credit and financial analysis forthe company’s rating process. In addition to insurance and financial guaranty,Peter also supports KBRA’s investment fund and public finance analytical teams. Prior to joining KBRA, Peter spent six years as chief financial officerat the Liquidation Bureau within the New York State Department of FinancialServices. Over the span of his 30-year career in financial services, Peter hasworked extensively in analytical roles involving risk management, capitalmarkets, and financial reporting at numerous companies including MorganStanley, MetLife, and XL Capital. Peter earned a B.S.B.A. in accountingfrom the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business and an MBA infinance from the New York University Stern School of Business.

James is Global CEO of Willis Re having been appointed to this position in January 2018. Based in London, he is responsible for leading Willis Re’s worldwide operation.
Previously James previously was based in New York and had the roles of Deputy CEO and President of Willis Re North America working in conjunction with Jim Bradshaw (CEO of Willis Re North America). James was charged with growing our Property, Casualty and Specialty operations throughout North America leading a collaborative and client focused organization.
Prior to his appointment as President of Willis Re North America, James ran the reinsurance operations for Willis Re Bermuda where he was responsible for developing new reinsurance business from Bermuda-domiciled companies and for managing inward business into the Bermuda reinsurance market. James was instrumental in establishing Willis Re’s unique Bermuda platform and ensuring that the Bermuda operation became fully aligned with our worldwide network of offices, thus allowing our global clients to receive local representation when dealing with the Bermuda reinsurance market.
James joined Willis Re in 2004 from Aon Re (now Aon Benfield), where he served as Director for 13 years, producing and placing Property and Casualty treaty business. During his final two-and-a-half years at Aon, James served as Vice President of Aon Re of Bermuda.

Denis Kessler, a French citizen, has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SCOR since 4 November 2002.
He is a member of the Board of the Geneva Association, as well as being a member of the Global Reinsurance Forum, the Reinsurance Advisory Board, the Steering Committee of the Insurance Development Forum and the International Advisory Panel of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
He has been Chairman of the French insurance federation (Fédération Française de l’Assurance - FFA), Vice-President of the Comité Européen des Assurances (CEA), Senior Executive Vice-President and member of the Executive Committee of the AXA Group, First Executive Vice Chairman of Mouvement des Entreprises de France (MEDEF - the largest employer federation in France), Chairman of the Global Reinsurance Forum, Chairman of the Reinsurance Advisory Board and Non-Executive Chairman of the Association of reinsurance professionals in France (APREF).
Denis Kessler is a professor with advanced degrees in economics and social sciences, and a Fellow of the French Institute of Actuaries. He holds a PhD in economics of the University of Paris and is a graduate of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC Paris). He also holds honorary degrees from the Moscow Academy of Finance and HEC Montreal.
He was elected to join the “Insurance Hall of Fame” of the International Insurance Society in 2014. In January 2016, he was elected to join the French Institute’s Academy of Moral and Political Sciences (ASMP). In May 2016, he was appointed “Honorary Freeman of the City of London”.

With almost 40 years of reinsurance experience, including 18 years of reinsurance underwriting, Dan Malloy was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Third Point Re in 2019, having previously served as the company's Chief Underwriting Officer since 2012. Prior to joining Third Point Re, Dan worked at Aon Benfield from 2003 where he co-led the Specialty Lines practice groups. President and a board member of Stockton Reinsurance Ltd. in Bermuda from 1998 to 2003, Dan's experience with structured reinsurance began when he served as President of Centre Re Bermuda, where he was employed between 1993 and 1998. Dan began his reinsurance career in 1981 working as a reinsurance broker for Sedgwick Re. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Dartmouth College.

Alex Maloney joined Lancashire in December 2005 and was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer in April 2014. On joining, Mr Maloney was responsible for establishing and building the energy underwriting team and account and, in May 2009, was appointed Group Chief Underwriting Officer. Since November 2010, Mr Maloney has served as a member of the Board and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Lancashire Insurance Company (UK) Limited in 2012. Mr Maloney has over 20 years’ underwriting experience and has also worked in the New York and Bermuda markets.

Steve is the Founder and CEO of McGill and Partners. Steve has more than 40 years’ experience in the insurance industry, beginning at Bland Payne, followed by Willis Faber, and then a variety of leadership roles at JLT until being appointed Group CEO in 2001. At Aon, he became Group President of Aon plc. and was responsible for Aon’s worldwide insurance and reinsurance business.
Steve is a recognised game-changer in the risk management industry, known for driving innovation and developing high impact strategies. In 2014, Steve was awarded a CBE (Commander of the British Empire) by Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of his exceptional service to the insurance industry and his humanitarian efforts.

Sabrina joined Lloyd’s in 2010. Prior to that, Sabrina was an associate in the Insurance Regulatory Department at Dewey & Le Boeuf, LLP. Sabrina is a graduate of New York University and NYU School of Law.

Kirsten Mitchell-Wallace is the Head of Risk Aggregation at Lloyd’s, the world’s leading insurance market. She is responsible for leading the strategy and day to day activities of Exposure Management (EM), Lloyd’s Catastrophe Model (LCM) and Outwards Reinsurance (ORI) teams. In her previous role as Regional Cat Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa at SCOR, she was responsible for leading cat teams based in Zurich and Paris. Before this she was Head of Cat Pricing and Methodology and responsible for coordinating the development of SCOR’s own view of risks, as well as managing the Zurich-based cat team. She also worked for Willis as a Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst for almost five years and spent two in model development for RMS after a couple of years as a risk management consultant.
Kirsten has a PhD in Atmospheric Physics from Imperial College, London and a Master’s in Meteorology from Reading University, as well as a degree in Chemistry from the University of Bristol. She also has an International Diploma in Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management.

James is the Global Practice Leader of Willis Re’s Customised Solutions team, the group that specialises in both retrospective and structured business. His role includes responsibility for the overall sales strategy and origination of complex / capital related reinsurance transactions worldwide. He joined Willis Re in June 2015, prior to which he spent nearly 20 years at Miller, where he led the Structured Reinsurance team.

Robert serves as Chief Research Officer at RMS. He works to enhance approaches to natural catastrophe modeling, identify models for new areas of risk, and explore expanded applications for catastrophe modeling.
In 2012, as part of Mexico's presidency of the G20, he helped promote government usage of catastrophe models for managing national disaster risks. Robert has more than 20 years of experience developing probabilistic catastrophe models. He was lead author for the 2007 IPCC 4th Assessment Report and 2011 IPCC Special Report on Extremes, is a member of the Climate Risk and Insurance Working Group for the Geneva Association, and is vice-chair of the OECD panel on the Financial Consequences of Large Scale Catastrophes. He is the author of six books, as well as numerous papers and articles in scientific and industry publications. He holds a degree in natural sciences and a Ph.D. in Earth sciences, both from Cambridge University.

Christian Mumenthaler started his career in 1997 as associate with the Boston Consulting Group. He joined Swiss Re in 1999 and was responsible for key company projects. In 2002, he established and headed the Group Retro and Syndication unit. Christian Mumenthaler served as Group Chief Risk Officer between 2005 and 2007 and was Head of Life & Health between 2007 and 2010. In January 2011, he was appointed Chief Marketing Officer Reinsurance and member of the Group Executive Committee, and became Chief Executive Officer Reinsurance that October. In July 2016, Christian Mumenthaler was appointed Swiss Re's Group Chief Executive Officer.

Fausto Parente is the Executive Director of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA). In his role, he presides over the day-to-day management of EIOPA. Mr. Parente was elected by the Board of Supervisors of EIOPA on 28 January 2016. His nomination followed an open selection procedure and a public hearing at the European Parliament's Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs. On 9 March 2016 the European Parliament confirmed his appointment. Mr Parente has a distinguished career in supervisory regulations and policies at national and international level. Prior to his current role he was Head of the Supervisory Regulation and Policy Directorate at the Italian Insurance Supervisor, IVASS – Istituto di Vigilanza sulle Assicurazioni.
He was the Alternate Member in EIOPA Board of Supervisors and member of the Advisory Technical Committee of the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB). In the context of the Italian Chairmanship in the EU Council (second half of 2014), Mr Parente chaired the Council's working group on Insurance Mediation Directive negotiations. In 2011-2016 he chaired the Insurance Group Supervision Committee of EIOPA and in 2015-2016 - the Joint ESAs Committee on Financial Conglomerates. For several years he was an alternate member in the Technical and Financial Stability Committees of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS).
Mr Parente has a degree in Economics from the University Federico II, Naples, and he is licensed to practice as a certified accountant and financial analyst. He has attended many post-graduate courses in the fields of management, European Community law, economy and finance of insurance undertakings. He is author of a series of publications on insurance supervision.

Louise joined TransRe in 1997 from the National Vulcan Engineering Insurance Group. Her first role at TransRe was assistant underwriter, specializing in engineering and construction business. Over the course of her career at TransRe she has worked across multiple lines of business and, following roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as Head of Property, Aviation, Accident & Health and Engineering, ultimately being appointed Deputy CEO in 2017. In these roles Louise has been responsible for setting and executing the underwriting strategy, business planning, staff development and customer relationship management for TransRe London. In addition, she has been increasingly involved in regulatory and governance matters.

Barney’s primary responsibilities include oversight of research, insurtech and new products; he is also involved in investor relations and business development. He is also the Chairman of Nephila Climate, the weather risk management business.
Barney Schauble joined Nephila Capital in Bermuda in 2004 as a Managing Partner and moved to San Francisco in 2010. He began working in re/insurance in New York in 1993 at Marsh but spent most of his early career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in their Risk Markets group, where he helped to execute the first catastrophe bond and spent six years working on development and distribution of catastrophe and weather-linked products.
Barney is the Chair of the Board of Ceres (a non-profit devoted to sustainable capitalism) where he has been a Director since 2011. He has also served as an advisor and/or board member at various insurtech companies including The Climate Corporation, MetroMile, Advisen, Cyence, Tremor, and Boost.

Marc Guy Victor Sordoni is Chief Executive Officer of UnipolRe Dac. He has held this position since 2014. Mr Sordoni is also currently holding the following positions: Head of Reinsurance for UnipolSai Assicurazioni supervising the reinsurance for the affiliated companies of Unipol Group in Italy; in UnipolSai for the ILS, M.G.V.S. has been sponsoring various Catastrophe bond like Azzurro Re I Limited in 2015, Atmos Re I Dac in 2018 and Azzurro Re II Dac in 2020. Marc Guy Victor Sordoni is Executive Vice President of the Board of Directors of Syneteristiki Insurance, he has held this position since March 2016. Prior to joining Unipol Group in 2013 Mr Sordoni worked in the reinsurance industry for more than 20 years on the life and non-life side. He holds three Master’s degrees in Business Studies and a degree in Economics and Finance.

Iwan has 22 years of Catastrophe Management experience in the insurance industry. He joined Zurich Insurance Group in 1998 and held various regional and global roles in the area of Catastrophe Modeling and Management within Group Risk Management and Group Reinsurance. In his current role as Head of Group Accumulation Management he has overall responsibility for the function. Supported by a team of 22 professionals this includes quantifying the natural and man-made accumulation risk (including e.g. cyber, pandemics, climate change, casualty cat) for the Zurich Group and ensuring that stakeholder’s requirements are met.
Iwan has a M.Sc. of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Civil and Rural Engineering. He completed the Dr. Horst K. Jannott Scholarship at Munich Re and the Georgia State University and studied Economics and Finance at the UK Institute of Actuaries and the Macquarie University in Sydney.

Dirk Wegener is Global Head of Corporate Insurance for Deutsche Bank AG based in Frankfurt, Germany. His areas of responsibility include the global transfer of Deutsche Bank’s risks to insurers as well as the management of Deukona GmbH, the in house insurance broker of Deutsche Bank, and DB Re. S. A., Deutsche Bank’s captive insurance company.
Dirk is Deputy President of FERMA, the Federation of European Risk Management Associations.
Before joining Deutsche Bank group in 2012, Dirk spent 16 years in risk and insurance management at a German automotive company.
Dirk graduated as “Diplom-Kaufmann” at the University in Cologne after studying Economics and Business Administration, followed by a trainee program with a German Insurer, where he started his career as a Third Party Liability Underwriter.

Dieter Winkel was appointed President Liberty Mutual Reinsurance (LMRe) in August 2017. He is responsible for the global reinsurance business of the Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, which is currently written through 15 offices worldwide. Before his appointment to his current position, Dieter was Chief Underwriting Officer Reinsurance and General Manager Cologne for Liberty Mutual Re. Dieter Winkel joined LM Re in 2002 from Gerling-Konzern Globale Rückversicherung AG where he held various positions over a period of 19 years. When he left Gerling he was the General Manager and Senior Underwriter responsible for UK/London Market, Australia/NZ and Japan. Dieter graduated from Gerling-Konzern Zentrale Verwaltungs-GmbH and from Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK, BWV).

Paul joined CGI in 2017 working across CGI’s regional global insurance business to develop overarching strategy capability development and working closely with a number of key accounts. Most recently Paul has been building awareness of CGI’s industry leading delivery track record as a systems integrator with innovative services, within the London Market.
Previously he was Group Digital Director LV= where he spent ten years as part of the core leadership who turned LV= into an engaging, digital brand; during this time helping drive revenue up from £630m to £2.4bn.
Prior to LV= he was involved with Sir Peter Wood’s start up business esure Insurance, as Online Channels Director. He was also part of the dot com start-up Insurecom who became a UK fast-track 100 business within its first 3 years.

George Woods is a Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Advisory for Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC.
Woods has over 25 years of insurance industry experience. For the last nine years, he has focused on identifying and evaluating technology firms to partner with Guy Carpenter(GC) and their clients. He regularly meets with startup tech companies, visits technology innovation hubs, and speaks about emerging technology at insurance industry conferences. He continues to play a lead role in developing and executing GC’s InsurTech and customer value strategy by keeping clients and colleagues abreast of the present technology trends, industry impact and opportunities for leverage. He is a senior member of GC Genesis, Guy Carpenter’s InsurTech advisory offering.
Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, Woods served as Vice President, Business Development for Aon Inpoint, the consulting firm and subsidiary of Aon Benfield. Prior to Inpoint, Woods worked at Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company (HSB) holding a variety of leadership positions including: Director of Treaty Reinsurance for Latin America and Branch Manager,of the Chicago and Baltimore offices.
Woods holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lafayette College, in Easton, PA. He completed HSB’s Executive Development Program, which was created by the Harvard Business School (HBS) and the courses were taught by their world-class faculty. He is also an avid artist who enjoys sketching and painting.

Emma Woolley is Chief Executive of Lancashire Syndicates Limited, the Lloyd's platform of the Lancashire Group. Emma has over 20 years' experience in the London Market, starting her career at BMS Group in 1997 providing technical support across multiple classes. Emma subsequently joined Swiss Re in 2004 working in the UK Legal team before moving to Canopius to take up the role of Deputy Head of Wordings in 2007. Emma held a number of management and leadership roles including Head of Underwriting Controls and Head of Compliance for the Group before joining Lancashire Syndicates in January 2017 as Compliance Director before being promoted to Chief Executive Officer in February 2019. Emma is a member of the Lancashire Group Executive management team, ACII qualified and a member of the Lloyd's Market Association Board.

Ben Yoskovitz is Founding Partner at Highline Beta, a venture development and venture fund that works with large companies to identify new growth opportunities. Previously,Ben was VP Product at VarageSale and GoInstant (acq. Salesforce). He is co-author of Lean Analytics, a book focused on helping startups and big companies use metrics to accelerate the growth of new businesses.
