We want your experience at (Re)Connect to run as smoothly as possible, so we have created FAQs which should answer most of the questions you may have, check them out below.

How do I make the most of the (Re)Connect week?

Although (Re)Connect is taking place on 14-18 September, getting your profile set-up and finding connections immediately will help you make the most of the (Re)Connect week. We will send you emails with all your your log-in links, upcoming sessions and reminders throughout the event. 

Getting started

Make sure you've done the following:

  • Complete your profile (add a photo to optimise networking opportunities)
  • Set your meeting availability within the My Availability section so that you're ready to book those all important meetings
  • Check out the agenda and build your own bespoke schedule for the week
  • Explore the delegate network and start connecting with delegates to book in meetings

Which browsers support (Re)Connect?

We strongly recommend Google Chrome for the best user experience. You may experience issues if you're using other browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

Tips for networking

We've put together a check list to help you take advantage of the unique networking opportunities with other delegates allowing you book in your 1'1s.

 Top tip: Completing your profile will suggest to other delegates you are prepped, ready to meet and make genuine professional connections, it also allows our delegate matching AI find you suggested connections.

How do I set my availability?

When you are logged in, select 'My Availability' in the 'Networking Activity' box in the networking tab. Here you can set times which suit your schedule. This will let other delegates know your preferred times to arrange a meeting. 

Top tip: check this at least twice, once when you set your availability and then before (Re)Connect.   

How do I set up a meeting?

On the networking tab you will be able to search for delegates and potential connections. Tap the star icon next to their profile to show your interest, and they will move to My "Interested" list. The delegate will receive an email notification with the option to setup a meeting if they are also interested.

Top tip: a quick and easy way to make a connection is with the chat tool. Click the message icon on a delegates profile, introduce yourself and get networking. 

Sessions and the agenda

(Re)Connect is bringing internationally renowned names from across the (re)insurance industry. Over 50 leaders will take to the ‘stage’ across the week and you will be able to watch fireside chats, interactive panel sessions and get the latest breaking news from any sessions you can't make. All fireside chats and interactive panel sessions can be found on the live tab.

✔ Top tip: make sure to add your sessions to your external calendar as you will not want to miss these sessions.

Watch on demand

Our fireside chats and panel sessions will be available to watch on demand following the broadcasts. To access the videos, hover over the agenda tab and click on demand from the drop down. 

Building your schedule

Head to the agenda tab and click the '+' icon next to the sessions you wish to view to build your bespoke (Re)Connect schedule. From here you can add the sessions to your external calendar. You can then view your bespoke schedule for the week under the my schedule tab.

Can I connect with Sponsors?

You can arrange meetings, connect via chat, audio or video to interact with our sponsors throughout the week. Click on the sponsor logos to learn more about our sponsors and visit their dedicated pages. This is where you will find their contacts and any resources that they wish to share with you. Keep an eye out, sponsors may connect with you prior to the event to request a meeting during (Re)Connect week.
